  3. Add sugar and cook for another 2 minutes. Next add red chilli powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from the flame and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in another pan. Add panch phoron, dry chiilli, garlic and curry leaves. Saute for few seconds. Next add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, hing and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now add the mango mix and cook on a low flame for 5-6 minutes till the consistency becomes thicker.
  6. Add grated coconut, mix well and cook for a minute.
  7. Finally add roasted cumin powder and turn off the flame.
  8. Serve the delicious 'Amba Khatta' (Raw Mango Chutney) as a side dish with lunch/dinner.
