Hello everybody, hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, bread rolls. It is one of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.
Bread rolls is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look fantastic. Bread rolls is something which I have loved my entire life.
Easy to make French bread rolls. Dough can be made in mixer, bread maker, or by hand. The bread rolls shouldn't be too close to each other as they will rise while baking.
To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook bread rolls using 14 ingredients and 18 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

- Prepare 4-5 potatoes boiled mashed
- Make ready As required Bread slices

Divide the dough into twelve equal pieces, and form into rounds. Over the years, these French bread rolls have become more than a dinner roll. Although it is fabulous as just that (and would be perfect for an Easter dinner menu or other holiday spread), these French bread rolls have become my go-to for any recipe that needs a wonderful all-purpose roll or bun (whole wheat notes below). Instructions to make Bread rolls:
- Boil potatoes in pressure, cook potatoes for 5-6 whistles,when pressure settles down on it's own, open the lid and check the potatoes with knife and it should slit easily.
- Then peel and grate them. You can even mash them with a potato masher.
- Add 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves and 1 green chili, finely chopped.
- Add ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder (or crushed black pepper), ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder (or add as required), ½ teaspoon cumin powder and ½ to 1 teaspoon dry mango powder or add as required. also add salt as per taste.
- You can add ½ to 1 teaspoon lemon juice or ½ to 1 teaspoon dry pomegranate seeds powder instead of dry mango powder, it's taste amazing.
- mix very well. Check the taste and add more spice powders, salt and dry mango powder if required.
- Take a portion of the mixture and make small to medium rolls of potato filling. The size of the rolls will depend on the size of the bread.
- Take the bread slices and slice off the side crusts.
- Take ⅓ cup water in a plate or a bowl. Dip one bread slice in the water completely.
- Just keep the bread in water and remove after 1 to 2 seconds. Just let the bread absorb the water. It should get damp but not overly. Otherwise the bread slice breaks. The idea is to make the bread moist enough so that it becomes pretty flexible which would make the rolling and shaping easier.
- Press the bread between your palms so that the excess water is drained.
- Make sure the bread stays intact and does not break. So press gently.
- Place the prepared potato stuffing roll on centre of the moist bread slice, press the roll and seal them.
- Shape and make bread rolls this way with the remaining bread slices.
- Heat oil for deep frying or shallow frying bread rolls in a kadai or pan. When the oil becomes medium hot, then add the bread roll. Do not overcrowd the kadai. Add 3 to 4 bread rolls depending on the size of the kadai. The oil has to be moderately hot.
- Fry the bread roll till they become crisp and light golden in color.
- Place the crispy bread rolls on kitchen paper towels for extra oil to be absorbed. While still hot serve the bread roll. In the same way, fry the rest of the bread rolls.
- Serve crispy roll With your favorite accompaniments like tomato sauce or green chutney. You can even sprinkle some chaat masala on them while serving.
Make things easy on yourself by picking up bulk hot dog buns and bulk hamburger buns. And don't forget to swing by the meat department to pick up hot dogs, hamburgers and condiments like ketchup, mustard, relish and mayonnaise.
